Thank You for Making #OFFICIATIONWEEK2026 the Biggest Ever!

The 2026 AVCA Fall Volleyball Officials Appreciation Week made history with 930 participants representing all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Canada, setting a new event record and surpassing the previous mark of 852 participants set in 2025!

This also marks the first-ever nationwide sweep of all 50 states, showcasing the volleyball community's commitment to recognizing the officials who make our sport possible.

Thank you to every team, coach, official, school, conference, and organization that took part. Your support helped shine a well-deserved spotlight on the individuals who serve our game every day.

AVCA Board of Directors Elections for NCAA DIII Women and Two-Year College

Notify AVCA by 10/21 if you're interested in being on the ballot.

2026 AVCA Board of Directors Elections Voting for NCAA DIII Women's Representative and the Two-Year College Representative positions on the AVCA Board of Directors will be conducted October 26-29, 2026.

Any interested director/representative candidates must be at least 21 years of age, be an active coach within the coaching group (NCAA DIII Women head coach or Two-Year College head coach) they will represent and shall be an active AVCA member in good standing on the date of election through their term(s) on the AVCA Board.

Current NCAA DIII Women Representative, Coach Nancy Mueller (Sewanee) will be the incumbent and will be seeking a second three-year term. Current Two-Year College Representative, Coach Shelby Forchtner (NMMI) will be the incumbent and will be seeking a second full three-year term.
